We are Maria and Jay, lifelong partners embarking on nearly 20 years of adventures together. In 2020, we swapped the cool air of Denmark for the sun-soaked beauty of Portugal. The name combines Lumi, meaning “light,” and Kind, representing kindness—two values we hold close in everything we do. As a family, we wanted to create something that spreads joy, warmth, and positivity, while also honoring our love for the planet. That’s why we chose to handcraft eco-friendly candles using plant-based ingredients, designed to bring both a smile and a sense of calm to your space.
